Intellectual Property Financing

Taking security interests in intellectual property
has traditionally been complicated both by uncertain and inconsistent Federal law, and the perceived "step back" of former Article 9. The panel will consider whether the interplay of Revised Article 9 and recent case law, including the Aerocon and Cybernetic Services cases, has significantly clarified the rules for intellectual property financing transactions.
